Hello,
I have asked with question before, but cannot seem to find my original thread.
I have been conned into helping a relative develop/create a website for somebody. Without getting into too great of detail, there is a budget of 500 dollars for the cart.
The client would like to use paypal for checking out, but would like to have a cart to show/calculate all the items (I have not looked into the paypal cart, but I have been told that you leave and go to paypal each time you add something to the cart). They would like for all items to be added, then go to paypal or pay within their own site.
In the previously mentioned thread, it was suggested to me that a shopping cart would be a large task to code this myself (not to mention the cost) and I should consider using a prebuild script.
I am not opposed to either .net or php. But I would like some feedback on possible course of action and suggested carts.
ps I understand that "each cart is different due to different businesses", for some reason that always seems to come up.
Thanks
