Why it would it matter? All urls are case insensitive when it comes to uppercase or lowercase. __________________
The title says it all. It changes uppercase to lower case.

URLs are case sensitive when you are beyond the DNS part of it.

Sorry folks. Obviously a case of too much Christmas pudding.
I could not access the site because the file had gotten corrupted. As I had only just noticed the change of case, I wrongly thought that that was what was wrong.
The old C-nile virus again!

Why it would it matter? All urls are case insensitive when it comes to uppercase or lowercase. It is case sensitive for the directories/files/REQUEST_URI (at least for *nix based servers)

Yeah I guess I should have said the domain wasn't case sensitive.
