displaying a .cfg file on the browser...

I have a configuration file sitting on the server with extension .cfg which is nothing but a text file, that I would like to display on the client browser the problem is that when a client browse to that file and click on it, it gets "file not found" error". This is hosted in a Windows 2003 Server, how could make this happen?

It won't. Do you also get a 403 (forbidden) error? Do you have a link to the file we can try? You could add a mimetype to treat the cfg file as a text file. To add a mimetype you can follow the directions here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb742440.aspx

plain/text is probably what you want for the cfg file.
