Does anyone know of any free web music playing sites that have an API which allows users to export their play lists / currently played songs, etc to another website so that if the user's profile on the third party website is displayed then the user's playlist can also be displayed? (assuming the user gives the third party website permission to do so)?

Is that the kind of thing you're looking for?
Or are you looking for a way to create your own playlist sharing site?

I am trying to replicate what the playlist.com website is already doing, but I am trying to do this for users for my own site.
so that when users view their profile on my site (see sig below), one of the listed items includes their recent playlist
so the user (if they want to) submits a link from a music playing website (like last.fm) to my site
I compile all of the playlists for that user and display them in their profile
so, my question is: which music playing websites have an API that allows me to do that? or even just an RSS file with the playlist?

btw, based on my research last.fm doesn't seem to allow users to export their listending data / playlists
so basically, what I am asking is, does anyone know of any other music playing websites that allow users to export their playlists?

How would you deal with the various playlist formats?
Some would be itunes, XML, MPL, M3U
Most likely, any playlist would involve XML (RSS feeds, or XML database output),
but the actual XML tags/format may vary from site to site.
I did find this:
playlist.com is currently working on an API.
Maybe this is the best way to find some?
