touch-pad controls in XP?

Hi again all,
I have yet another question. Where does one find where in XP the touch-pad controls are? Anybody? I found where in Vista and turned the default "tap-to-click" feature off which stinks and was always fouling me up on something, but there is no icons that I can find in XP and I've even searched to no avail.

Sorry about the late reply. That other XP computer got some issues.
This computer uses Vista and with aerospace's help a while back I have the tap to click turned off so this one is okay.
