Please review the following website - would be interested in anyones opinion.
Site address in http://www.bilgroupcw.eu/
The site is engaging enough. I'm sure in comparison to the competitors' websites it's pretty advanced. I would say that, overall, it's pretty good.
I like that you've paid attention to alignment and padding. The left and right columns align with the navigational buttons, which is great.
I think you've tried a little too hard to make the site look trendy with the "shiny" trend that has been over for quite a while, but still not long enough. I apologize for saying that the layout does look a little bit like it was derived from a template.
If I could recommend doing only one thing to drastically change the appearance of the site, it would be to modify the logo so it's not a shiny button.
A site note: The text in the "TEST ROOM" button shifts a little bit left in the rollover state.
Good luck to you!

My first impression is that this post is regarded only for SEO purposes, since it was linked multiple times in the post and is triggering some keywords. I would gladly review if the OP changes their post to remove the extra links (in accordance with the site guidelines).

I think this is a very solid desgin, overall. I agree that the buttons could stand to lose the often over-hyped glossy appearance, but I think the logo is fine as-is. Shiny is a look that is OK when used sparingly and I think a corporate logo qualifies.
The site seems very mechanically sound on a quick pass-through.
You have a good sense of unity between division sites, however I would say that the maroon-y color used in the navigation and in the banner at the top are not very compatible with the blue tones of the materials handling division set-up. You might try to find a more universally friendly color to use for the top ribbon and the active page in the menu (or else make it a blue tone in the materials handling page as you have done nicely with the other colors in the scheme).
A few other cross-divisonal website issues:
BIL logo does not line up in the same spot between the pages in the header and or the footer. If you have gone this far to unify the design, why not clean it up just a tad?
Log-in and cart details do not appear in the castors and wheels division page as they do in the top and right-hand side of the materials handling division (this may be intentional if there is no shopping to be done in castors and wheels though, so this might be a point to ignore)
"Advanced Search" is labeled differently between the two pages

I have two first impressions - the header creates a strong visual impact, but it's also too tall for my tastes. In 1024x768 resolution, which is pretty common, the visitor is forced to scroll down to see additional content. I am a big proponent of making sure that the visitor sees substantial meaningful content right away. With this design, the user sees text in the H1 tag and that's about it. This could be a turn-off.
