Hello,

I have a problem with an early CSS design. I'm designing within a pop-up window:

Now if you click on the link you will see I have a box. It fits the pop-up nicely in IE, but in FF the width goes past the pop-up Window and it looks awkward as you are forced to scroll. Can anyone help?

Here's my code:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
<html>
<head>
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<style type="text/css">
/* Start the stylesheet */

* { padding:0; margin: 0; }

body {
font-family:"Lucida Grande", "Lucida Sans Unicode", Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size:12px;
background: #F4F3F1;
color: #666;
}

#wrapper {
margin: 0 auto;
width: 100%;
border: 6px solid #EAEAEA;
background-color: #FFF;
}

.insidewrap {
width: 100%;
border: 1px solid #CCC;
padding: 10px;
}

</style>
</head>

<body>
<div id="wrapper" class="insidewrap">

</div> <!-- End wrapper-->
</body>
</html>

See if removing highlighted helps:

#wrapper {
margin: 0 auto;
width: 100%;
border: 6px solid #EAEAEA;
background-color: #FFF;
}

.insidewrap {
width: 100%;
border: 1px solid #CCC;
padding: 10px;
}

What does that mean?

I'm unable to see the (horizontal) scrollbar on your page already.

Nope, sorry you are right. My browser was caching. Thank you!
