Hi I have an input box id="btnSubmit" and this is the CSS:

#header #btnSearch {
float:left;
margin-top:12px;
background-image:url("./images/btn-search.jpg");
width:17px;
height:17px;
display:bock;
}

Any ideas why this doesnt appear to be working in IE6/7?

display:block;

Maybe? What do you mean by "not working"?

I'm assuming you wanted the code for BOTH id items, right?

The way he has it just means that #btnSearch has to be in the #header section. If he had two #btnSearch sections (which he shouldn't with an id, but if he did), one in the #header and one out, then only the one in the #header would be affected.
