The above code is not working on my html on my weebly website. my email is mychildrenaremylife@gmail.com What am I doing wrong? Can someone tell me how it should work?:confused::D

*sigh* See, there's very little point in hiding your email if you're just going to post it on a popular site. Slight lack of thinking things through? :)

some people like me dont use an email client in windows, so clicking a mailto link doesnt do anything for me, i have to copy the email addy to gmail to use it.

You could always use a contact form ( not trying to post all the time about my contact form, just trying to help people)

Sigh....it's a site for parents of the elementary my children go to and it has to be there so people can email me forms and etc to put on the site for parents to down load. No at 50 years old, I think very well thank you. It is an email account that I don't care if junk goes to because it isn't my main one. I was looking for a code to make a clickable link, ran across that code on here and thought well... that might stop some. If it doesn't big flipping deal. But thanks for the concern about my mental capacity.:D

I already have that, great minds think alike. BUT read my response above...that will only work for people giving me other ideas. Kind of hard to sent a jpg or word document that way.


But if there is a simpler email html that people can click, I am open to that. Though I will try the one above.:D

Nope, maybe I am not filling it out right. I am computer illiterate.

I checked the source of your page. This is what is in there

That "click here" part is stopping anything from working. And yes you are doing it wrong. Using harbinger's solution

i could always modify my contact form to include a file upload option, or multiple upload options. If you want me to let me know, if you need it to look like your website, send me your html template so i can add form into it

But the school has decided that easier for parents is not important so I deleted it. Thank you for all the suggestions and offers. And yes that would have been a great thing to be able to do that uploads from your form...O... thanks:thumbsup:
