Ventrilo Channel for Developers?

Hey I was basically born on a computer but have mainly been a designer all these years. Im looking to create my company website but i need to broaden my horizons and accept coding into my world. The main reason for the post is im looking to create some databases with OpenOffice and could use some help over a voice chat program.(preferably vent) So if there is anyone out there who knows of a channel with developers and a strong community that would be great. My main focus right now is php logins & mySQL database setup. I learn better with assistance or atleast a mentor to go to when i get stumped. Thanks for reading.

I think this is a great idea. I actually found this thread looking for the same thing. I'd be willing to host such a server if there was some interest.
