I'd been troubling with Opera(9.01, I think), installed many times, but with no luck. No idea.
I love Firefox :)

I found this on google.

It says it can be used if you aren't an admin but its possible you need to do the same thing even if you are an admin.
I just installed Opera in Vista as an admin and it shows flash just fine. You can find out what version of flash is in your browser by going to

I too have several times tried to install flash. It goes through the motions, but does not work at all. I have tried all the suggestions on their website with no success. It shows itself as installed in the Control Panel, but it doesn't work. Just tried it on IE7 only.
Weird.

Might be the reason for why Opera losses its market share! I consider myself as an above average computer user, but till now, I couldn't succeed this.

I remember a few years ago everyone used Opera, even more than Mozilla. I remember we even had it on all computers on the college campus. But then, the performance just went down. Opera, at least to me, is slow nowadays and it freezes frequently. I guess Firefox is the current 'it.'
