Your question is a little generic on the details.

You want to load data into a div. What is this data and where is it coming from?

i want to load a div element's content from an external html file to another html file.
In almost every site i see the ajax code loading an external html page content but not the external page's div element's content.
i think u understand by this
for ex:
first html file :
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<div id = "blah_blah">
</div>
</body>
<html>
second html file
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<div id = "blah1">
my name
</div>
<div id = "blah2">
ur name
</div>
</body>
</html>
Now i want to load the div element whose contents are "my name" into first html file's div whose id is "blah_blah"
