Hey,
I have a scrolling layer on my site, which works great in IE, and Opera, but the scollbar appears out to the right in NS7. Anyone else experience this? Fix?
Here's the page: http://www.thodyconsulting.com/tc4/perspectives.php
Thanks in advance.

Yikes, haven't had it actually freeze on me...
Yeah, I've tried pretty much everything. I've even tried stripping the div styles down to just the dimensions, and overflow. Same result.
Damn you mozilla! Foiled again! :D

I think I may just ditch the scrolling feature for NS/Mozilla, too big a hassle, and it looks fine scaling instead. Oh well.
Thanks anyway.
Cheers.

Thanks, getting there :)
What about you put that stripped version up? Then maybe someone can see what's wrong. Too much markup there to dig through. :p

Well, to be honest, now that I see the scaling version...I kind of like it lol. Might switch to it for all browsers.
Can't make up my mind...what do you guys think?

personally i like the scrollbars.
scaling is fine, but its a neater effect when there inside the layout.
its up 2 u in the end.
Scaling version?

instead of content inside of a compacted scrolling cell, it would be displayed through normally, making the table longer.
right? :D :D

You got it ;)
Here's a version with the css imported, and most css not pertaining to positioning has been removed: http://www.thodyconsulting.com/tc4/ns_scroll.html
Wonder if it has to do with the DOCTYPE...

The only problem I've encountered is having to re-assign images, and flash to block display, instead of inline. Just removed all the doctype info and it didn't help though.
Well, removing padding in the #mainLayer rule gets rid of it anyway as cg9com suggested already in the first reply.

Hmmm. Swear I tried before and it didn't...wierd. Thanks for the attitude though :p (just playing wit chu :D) Thanks for the help.
I'm going to need that padding though...hopefully adding it somewhere else won't have the same effect.
