I am debating switch the logo of PbGunTrader.com

When you hover the arrow will flip and possible change colors?

The only thing I can see that would be bad about it is that it is too long. What do you think? Should I keep the current style or go with this style?

With the kind of medium light layout you have going for your forum, make the banner brighter. What if you combine both the old and new logo together? That wouldn't be a bad idea.

I agree with brighter.

How would I go about combining the two logos?

Add the old logo to the left or the right of the image. When you do that, you may want to make the light green arrow the same color as the dark green arrow on the newer logo.

Add a small ".com" at the end of the logo, as well. You may want to anti-alias your text, if you know how to do that. It will look much smoother.

Make the blue text the same color as the blue on your site. Basically, you want the banner to be based off the layout and colors of your site.

Definitely go with a version of the new banner. I looked at your site and the PbGunTrader text that you have up there at the moment isn't all that noticeable. Your site's main title should definitely be more visible.

And I like the second one from twodayslate. And if you're going to be placing it in the same location (top left corner) I'd choose a logo that has that arrow pointing to the right so it draws the viewers eye towards the center of the page.

OK, thanks for the input
I don't think I am going to put .com in the logo (not many major companies/sites do)
I will match the colors.
I don't know about adding the other logo, it might make it too long.
I already have anti-alias on... IDK why it is pixelated...
edit://The last one seems to have the best font (not as pixelated)
Will have the arrow pointed to the right by default (may have hover effect?)

I think it would look much better if you replaced the gray text with white.

All the way white?

I don't like all white. Maybe the lighter gray

Not all the way white, the first one in the last post looks sharp to me, although I did like the smaller version in the first post.

I think the arrow towards trader works better.
