I'm working on a JavaScript program and this code is error free:

ct=0;
{while (ct<nd){if(xg[ct]==1){ct=ct+1}}};
if (3>2){document.boxxes.s3a.value="GHI"};
if (ct < nd || ct>nd){alert("DUPLICATE DIGITS NOT ALLOWED");sw=1}};

However, if I move that third line just beneath the "DUPLICATE DIGITS ..." line, I get an error message stating "document.boxxes has no properties".
Incidentally, I wrote that if(3>2) part because without it, I also get the "document.boxxes has no properties" message.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Insufficient data.

Impossible to see what's all about, as you did now show us the elements. We need to see the HTML code as well and probably the whole code. Better a link to a test page.
