Hello all. Wanted to see if any of the studs here could clue me into how I might go about embedding an audio file into a webpage. I have had luck in the past using a .wma file with the Windows Media Player control panel, but I would like to create a file that simply plays when the page is loaded. If at all possible this audio would stream and the player controls would be hidden.

Any ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance for your time.

Select which type of file you want then select the don't show controls option.

hey!
maybe you post this problem a long time ago
but here is the answer:
<embed src="source.wav" hidden=true>

hidden=true hides that panel
and to put a background sound use
<bgsound src="source.wav"> anywhere in page

fan:)

1x1px transparent Flash movie does the trick nicely as well. Then you can use .mp3s

Cheers.
