Hi,
Having just failed to convince the powers that be of the (obvious ;) ) superiority of .NET over J2EE, I have to learn JSP. Quickly.
I'm an ASP developer, and know next to nothing about Java. What's a bean? What's a servlet? What, to put it into perspective, is a class?
Obviously, I'm gonna get at least some training. And a book. A really big book, that I can hide under if I become alarmed. And I know I'm not going to learn it in two weeks. But I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who's gone from ASP to JSP; syntax differences, architecture differences, examples of different approaches to the same basic tasks, places to begin looking at things I should be looking at.
Thanks.
