looking to add logic to a function

Hi I am trying to have my menu do the same as the menu on the example link. (menu on left) http://www.site-pro.com/promotion/
I desperatetly need to create a function. The script that makes my menu work is place on the index page and on the subsequent pages. I know that I if I add this Test_trigMenu1('Aboutmenu',1);
It will make the first menu remain open while i navigatein the submenus But how can i tell the other ones to open and close? I want one menu to show at a time....Is there a fuction I can use to do this? Please help!!!!!
