spry Data problem or array problem in IE

Hello everyone,

I've got a frustrating problem with Javascript in IE - no matter how much I stare at it, I can't work out why it works perfectly on Safari and other browsers. The problem is with the page:

http://www.blackhairensemble.co.uk/repertoire.php

If you're using IE - it should display an error message saying "Failed to retrieve data set".

I don't know why this is - I've tried escaping all the potential string characters in the array declaration but it's no use...

Any ideas?

When you use an XHTML Doctype, you must isolate the javascript embedded code lines inside CDATA islands, otherwise the interpreter will take some javascript special characters (< > &) as XML markers:

<script type="text/javascript">
/*<![CDATA[*/
... code here ...
/*]]>*/
</script>

Or, better, use external JS files.
