Windows XP Service Pack 3 (KB936929)

I have received Windows XP Service Pack 3 (KB936929).

Do you recommend that I install it? I have heard that serious problems can arise. Any tips?

I haven't seen any issues with it. And if it is finally coming down through automatic update, if there were any initial issues, they have probably been sorted out since SP3 was released months ago.

I installed it a couple of weeks ago through the update feature of XP and it hasn't made any noticeable difference yet.

I've installed it on quite a few machines via the standalone five-language package and I've not seen anything bad happen at all.

I have installed it on two computers with no problems.

Most of what it contains was already out using windows update, so if your computer was already up to date without any issues, you are not likely to run into any new problems.
