Best Language to use for making a Online Text-Based Game?

Hello.

I am going to make an online Text-Based game like something called BiteFight and I want to know which is the best language to use to make it.

I am knowledgeable (little bit) in PHP and I will learn any other language if it calls for it.

So anyone know the BEST language to help me with making one?

What do you mean by online?

Where you play it through a browser, or where you download the game, and it interacts with a server?

Well online where you can click on things, not downloading it, on the browser...
What language then?

Any server side web language (Perl, PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, lessee... lots of choices...) and javascript.
Graphical based: C++, possibly C#, Java or Flash.
