The serious - an entertaining guide to building accessibility into your website: http://diveintoaccessibility.org/

The silly - but kinda true too - a rant http://diveintomark.org/archives/2003/01/14/eddies_in_the_spacetime_continuum.html ;)

I dunno about all the anti-XHTML posts referencing threads on that site...

Yeah, sometimes it can be a pain, and they might need to put a very few features of HTML back into it (minus allowing ALL CAPS tags, improper nesting, etc.) - but I personally like the cleanliness of XHTML code and the use of CSS (especially with classes). And I haven't experienced too many problems with it.

The one major problem I HAVE seen with XHTML isn't really an XHTML issue, it's regarding CSS compatibility between browsers...

Everything else (besides certain features of CSS) seems to show up fine in browsers as far back as Netscape 4.7x, which is testing a little TOO far back, IMHO... I don't care about the _really_ (lol) technical issues too much as long as my stuff shows up right.
