Howdy,
I have a contact form and a "tell-a-friend" form that works perfectly with gmail, aol, and my companies email server.

However, the email that gets sent from my form does not even get into the spam box of yahoo email addresses. Is there anyway I could at least get the email sent into the spam box of yahoo?

I know they are trying to cut down on spam... but their tactics seem a little over-the-top if emails get entirely blocked without the user even knowing.

Thanks!

Check your SMTP server logs? (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/smallbusiness/bizmail/spam/spam-45.html)

I am waiting to speak with our admin to check the SMTP logs.

Here is the content of the emails:

The one email says:

Subject: "Fantom Info Request"

Body: "Thank you for requesting information from Fantom. We have received your request and have directed it to the appropriate representative who can assist you in a timely manner.

- Fantom Sales Team "

The other one says:
Subject: "Hey Mike, check out this video!"

Body: "Your friend Patricia thought you should check out this video:
http://www.videourl.com"

Thanks!

Hi prophetofjah,

I don't have any idea about the spam filter policy of Yahoo. But the subject of "Hey Mike! Check this video" is looking like a typical spam message subject. What I can suggest you is changing the subject and content of the email to a less spam looking style. I hope that will work.

telmessos,
Thank you for the suggestion. I tried change the subject and body... but it did not help.

I thought it would work after you mentioned it... I worked in email marketing for a bit and forgot how exclamation points can set off spam filters.

Thanks,
POJ

It depends on the spam policy of Yahoo. You can try after changing the subject line of your emails.
