majordomo

I've just signed up with a new web host who offers Majordomo Mailing List manager. I am able to access this through the control panel but I'm not sure if it's useful to me or not. Ny site has a subcribe/unsubscribe mailing list which deposits the addresses in a folder from which I send emails to my customers. My question is would the Majordomo Mailing List manager make tings easier for me? and if so how do I intergrate it with the web page so that my customers can be added to the list when they choose to subscribe. The documentation on the host site and on the Majordomo site are confusing. any help would be appreciated.
