I have always used Photoshop to service my photographs but I am having difficulty trying to make a rectangular jpeg with three divisions.
The rectangle itself is obviously no problem but how to subdivide it eludes me.:D
(any help welcome. We have just had our house replastered - all floors - and I cannot find my manuals.)

What sort of background image? A 1x800 image? Or that background that intrigued you yesterday?

Hi! Moodle.
If you look at this prog of mine (http://www.exitfegs.co.uk/Sources.html), you will see three columns. They are three different divs the bottom is kept tidy using javascript.
As I have never used Faux columns and as javascript can be a problem for some people, I want to go over to Faux columns. So I need to make the background image. I can draw the rectangle the correct size using Photoshop, but I cannot find a way to subdivide
it accurately.
I don't want the thing done FOR me. I just need some advice as to what I am missing. Thanks for the pointer to your post. I'll look at it immediately. It is one thing that I have not done before. And, I can't find my manual. I have just ordered another one.
Thanks again,
Frank

This thread was getting messy and on too many sites. If you want, it can be found on the General Web Building choice.
