Bandwidth is basically Data Transfer. The more GB of Bandwidth, the quicker your site will load, when transferring all your data.
The more you use, the more chances of your site becoming inactive for the duration of the month, until you get more bandwidth.

That's why I have unlimited bandwidth =D

Bandwidth == Allowed monthly transfer quota (this happens when people visits your site, hosting movies can fill it up pretty quickly)

Hosting Space == The amount of space in the web host HD that is assigned to your hosting account (The space you have to host your files, logs, etc.)

Bandwidth != Data transfer != Data storage.

Bandwidth is about how much information can be transported at peak speed at any given time. Measured in bits per second.

Data transfer is how much actual data is transfered. Usually measured in bytes per month.

Data storage is about how much data you can have sitting around on the server, and has nothing to do with transfers of data at all.

liorean, you are technically right.. even tho most web hosts tend to mix up bandwidth with the actual data transfer allowed. Like saying "Up to 3,000 GB bandwidth"

I wonder what the op was actually referring to.

I jumped into answering (wrongly) what I thought he was asking :)
