Hi Everyone,
I am a fairly new web designer who wants to get into javascript programming for my web pages. I have stambled on a couple of cool effects on this website; http://www.noe-interactive.com/#. The most impressive for me is scrolling the window by just clicking a link as well as the sliding text boxes. Does anyone out there know any good coding or tutorials that will enable me to reproduce such an effect?

Thank you

Add an anchor to the page

<a name="anchorName">some text</a>

Scroll there with a link:

<a href="#anchorName">jump to anchor</a>

or JavaScript to set

window.location.hash = 'anchorName';

You can also scroll to elements like this: http://radio.javaranch.com/pascarello/2005/01/09/1105293729000.html

Where you find the location and use window.scrollTo to get there. Now to get the nice effect you would have to use a setTimeout call and step to that location with a nice easing equation.
