Can you be a bit clearer please, do you want to change the temp internet settings?
How deep do you want to go, the danger with messing around with the reg on IE is...activex and if you dont have a good know how on this you could be opening yourself to a whole world of pain on the Hacking\virus front?
Can you be a little clearer what you want to do, or "hypothetically speaking" do you want to mess with someones Activex control?????
Or just change the basics?

What's wrong with the "Tools/Internet Options/Browsing History/Settings" ?
Just a few clicks away.

simple , we pre configure dedicated computers to clients
we need to control this option when we install the application

Sorry for all the questions but to help you best, i need the info :D

your being very vague in what you are trying to accomplish. You are going to need to be much more specific if you want anybody to be able to help point you in the right direction. Also, are these "preconfigured" machines part of a domain?

You are going to have to be a little more exact as Joe says.
hows your programming. What language you want to do this in etc?
its not easy messing with the reg by batch or remotley so.......more info please
