I am not even sure whether this is the right place for this question. Some body sent me a file attachment called "document.sit" which I am not being able to open. I use only PC. Is this some thing to do with any Mac file? Can any one explain me what is the .sit means?

.sit is a mac format used by Stuff-it Expander.
If you know someone with a Mac then you can expand it and re-compress it as a zipfile - but even then, it probably contains mac binary files, which are no use on a pc anyway.

Thank you so much. This really helps
Stuff-It does have a Windows version, however.
