Hi Guy's

All the experts are suggesting that the best os is Linux. I can see that is a must. However, I know that there are programs such as open cube to take the place of Excel and Word but I have never heard of or seen any reference to graphic programs such as Coreldraw that will work on the Linux platform.

I would appreciate any comments from you experts.

OpenOffice is the typical office suite on Linux however it is possible to use Microsoft Office under Linux if you use wine (http://www.winehq.org).

As for drawing programs, there are some but there aren't many that are as good as ones on the Windows side. People often use Gimp which is decent but it can't be used as a professional tool because it is missing a few features (or at least it was last time I heard) such as CMYK color support.
