Hi gang
Just wondering if there's a way to bring in an image created in Photoshop, with a transparent background into Flash? I'd like to just have the object (say a ball or a car) without any backgrounds.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Make a transparent png in photoshop and import the image into the library through the File menu in flash.

try out one of these 2 options .

1. create an image in photoshop.
file / save for web / gif / save it - this will save the file in gif format
Import it in flash.

2. create an image in photoshop.
file / save as / save as type: select "compressive gif".
Import it in flash.

In flash click on the bitmap file in library (that wil open bitmap properties)

In that tick(on) allow smoothing.

Hope that will help you out.

I would go with PNG24, as it is generally a better format over GIF.
