Include Statement Help

Ok I can include the file fine, but when I view the website it seems to make the included file display around 10px lower than its ment to be, I viewed the source code and it seems to inserted square symbol just before the included data which seems to be causing the problems, any ideas how I can resolve this issue?

Can we have a link to your page? Probably by the BOM (http://www.w3.org/International/questions/qa-utf8-bom)

open your included file in notepad and save as utf8 to another file (just in case)
and try to included to new file
it should work (it did for me once when i had the same problem)

Ok solved the issue, I use expression just to write my code and when i used that to upload the file it was adding that extra thing, but thanks to everyone tha commented
