changing file name with php

is there anyway, i can change a file name, using an html input box and php, from like one file name to another. im trying to make it like

Old File Name: {inputbox} New File Name: {inputbox} {submit}

so i can change it from one file name to another

Yes. The function you'll want to use on the backend is rename() (http://php.net/rename). The rest is simple form stuff.
