What is the best MVC framework to use with PHP? What PHP frameworks are most companies using? I notice there are several....
The only framework that I use at the moment is .NET.
Is there a PHP framework that is somewhat comparable to .NET? And a PHP IDE that integrates/implements said framework (similar to Visual Studio)?
Only worked with http://framework.zend.com/ which so far has ticket all the boxes...well..at the least for me ;)
Good comparison page
Not sure about IDEs...will be interested to know if there are any

Zend Studio looks nice! Albeit, somewhat expensive...
Does Zend Studio have its own built-in development server, similar to Visual Studio? Or must you actually develop and test on a live server, or using something like XAMPP (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html)?
Regarding Zend Framework: Is this the most "mature" PHP framework available? The most robust? Is this where the industry is headed, in your opinion?

I'm just getting into MVC and frameworks, but based on the research I've done so far, Zend at least seems to be the most popular, with some others actually built on top of it.
That's where I'm starting, fwiw.
