WAMP5 - 1 of 2 services running

My little WAMP5 icon is suddenly yellow and saying, "1 of 2 services running".
I've had his happen once before but I can't seem to fix the problem this time. I've rebooted, restored to an older system, and some other things I can't remember, but still no luck. I understand about possible conflicts with Apache regarding port 80, but I don't see anything wrong. The IIS checkbox is totally blank (not checkd or filled) in the Windows Features Ctl Panel (Vista).

Any help would be most welcome.

Have you tried something like XAMPP? Also where did you install WAMP to? Did you install it to the Vista program files folder?

no i haven't tried XAMPP yet. i am about to. The startWAMP app is in the program file with the WAMP folder in C:\.

Hmm. Its recommended that XAMPP is installed to the C: drive rather than the program files directory so this may be a similar problem with WAMP.
