source for making box shots?

HI, as seen in many sites,. I would like to make a few box shots. I want to make my products look like they are boxed.

I would also like to try the same with a large (thick) book, where it is falt on a lecturn (for explanation purposes) and the open pages can be seen.

Any tips for good software for doing this?

I have used 3D Box Shot Maker, a nice freeware program, to some extent in years passed. You just need an image for each side of the box.
