License question about Power point and flash file format

Hello all
i developed export ability to Microsoft ppt file format and flash graphic format
this is based on the open spec both companies opened to the public .
now my question is can i use this exporters in product ?
without license problems ?
someone knows where i can find info about it ?

You most likley will require written permission from both companies, and if they let you, they will probably charge royalty. Remember, if your profuct is good they may attempt to take ownership rights of the application you created.

oh, the formats? I thought you saod you borrowed part of their source code from their application. As for the extension, I don't think you should have a problem with it. You can't really protect a file extension - just the software.
