Hey everyone, first post here. I've done html work throughout the years and recently decided to learn CSS. I plan on starting a web development company. I plan to achieve this with my marketing ability and with web design/programming partners (while I learn). I don't have the money to get one designed and programed quite yet so I did it myself for now. I coded the style sheet through what I learned on a few googled sites but didn't realize that it looked right on Firefox but distorted on IE. I've read on child selectors but I still am not sure what to do. I hope one of you can help me, thanks.

its unwise to put a home phone on your page

also cross-browser compadibilty is an issue that has baffeled coders of all kinds.

me for example i am in collage next year will be my last and i studied css/html (there was other stuff thrown in obviously) and i still cannot get my sites totaly compadible with all browsers.

Sorry if my spelling is bad, i have been drinking a bit.

To expect a standard behaviour from browsers, we need to give a valid document to them, see the errros in your code, http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Ffreewebs.com%2Fnextlevelsource&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

Basically, we need to give a valid DOCTYPE at the very top of our document, see www.alistapart.com/articles/doctype/
