Look for someone with a good english writting for our website and our professional image.

We presently have customers in Canada and Europe and start to have some in USA.
Most of them speak French but we will like to extend to a biggest market (USA, England and others).

In exchange we will host your virtual website with no charges on Linux/Unix/Apache server with the following options (Mysql,PHP4,ASP, unlimited POP3,forward,autoresponder,aliase,statistics,SSI,F
TP,Schell,support,etc)

This is a serious post, we want someone serious.

Please email at : patrickpourin@videotron.ca

Thank you

patou do NOT cross post, please read the Posting Guidelines (http://www.codingforums.com/postguide.htm):
1) Do not cross post your question in multiple forum categories- When posting, there is no excuse to post the same question in multiple categories in hopes of getting a quicker response. This is called spamming, and can get you banned. Choose one category that best accommodates your question, and post it there, once. If you're following up on a question, reply to the original thread, not start a new one! Everyone here is volunteering their time to help out others. The least you can do is make their jobs easier and less confusing.

I'm looking for someone to check at our website and replace or add the right word.

We had some comments from outside as what the pages are not in good english.

Our pages are online, but just have to be checked and should be confidential

Hi patou:
The reason you didn't locate your initial thread is that it's been deleted. Advertising/solicitation is probited on CF.

Seeing this thread has already progressed and may have interested a few members, I will keep this particular copy open for now.

I, too, would be very interested in this. :D Sounds like you need someone to do proofreading on the site... or do you need a French/English translator?

As I said before, the web pages and the site exist, we are web hosting services.
But since we are french, then our english writting is ... maybe good for a all day conversation but not for a professional image.

So we will like someone with a good writting.
The html coding is not necessary, we just want from time to time the person check our page and say "oops! here it is the fault" and then email us the right text.
The first time the person will have to check our pages and make sure the english is well writted and can be understanded.
Maybe someone with website experience is better, because he know the word to use on the net.

I seen your links. Are you from Montreal or PQ?

It is true, videotron have lot of problems.
One time my connection was off for 8 days, because someone's brooke the wire somewhere.
Videotron director want to close the door because it cost a lot of $ to maintain their installation. But here the syndicate is powerful and protect well the employes.
Sure if I had choice I will tale ADSL from Bell.
But since I moved outside Montreal, Bell have no installations for high spedd connection, so I have to stay with cable connection.

I don't say Bell is better vs cable, but they are a more reliable enterprise at this moment compare at Videotron.

I was working for Bell in the HSE (High speed) service, the service is not better of videotron, sorry to say that but since they don't engage no more directly (they do by third parties contract), the technicians they engage is somehow inadequate in technical service (mostly for tech 1). If you have mid or big problem, better to transfer and "try" to talk to a tech nivel 2 or manager of tech nivel 1.
