Hey, I'm trying to implement a popout menu that displays when a specific class of li element is hovered over. Does anyone know how I would get submenuul to display when class submenuli2 is hovered over? I don't want to get into why, but I can't change the submenuul ul class name and that's where I'm having a problem because I don't think I'm going down the tree ancestor-descendant tree correctly. Thanks if anyone can help.

<div id="nav">
<ul class="menu1">
<li class="menu1item"><a href="#">Item 1</a>
<ul class="submenuul">
<li class="submenuli"><a href="#">Sub Item 1</a></li>
<li class="submenuli2"><a href="#">Sub Item 2</a>
<ul class="submenuul">
<li class="submenuli"><a href="#">Sub Sub Item 1</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
</div>

Thanks aero for the link. I found my solution.

#nav li.submenuli2 ul {
/*hide the subnav*/
display: none;
}

#nav li:hover.submenuli2 ul {
/*shows the subnav*/
display:block;
}
