i'm quite fresh on web programming., while surfing ,i regconize that coders prefer making Menu Bar by using <li> tab than <table> one.It's the habit or sth else??. both have same properties when we adjust them by CSS. Somebody tell me about this problem. <excuse for my bad English> Thanks

<li>'s are an easier way to manage and style a navigation system. Its much easier than tables with more control.

Plus, it’s more semantic (http://boagworld.com/technology/semantic_code_what_why_how/). A navigation isn’t tabular data. Rather, it’s a list of links.

<table>
<caption>Site Navigation</caption>
<thead>
<tr>
<th>Page</th>
<th>URL</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Home</td>
<td><a href="http://example.com/">http://example.com/</a></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>About</td>
<td><a href="/about/">http://example.com/about/</a></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>News</td>
<td><a href="/news/">http://example.com/news/</a></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Contact</td>
<td><a href="/contact/">/http://example.com/contact/</a></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>

Wouldn't a definition list be more suited if you formatted it like that, though?

It wouldn't bother me at all.
