Ok so we have two sites on different servers, there is a video on one server which is in a media player, and we want to put it onto our website on another server. We tried to make html code up like you get from youtube or photobucket to embed the video but failed miserably.
The video is here - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/r.tarrant/video/
and the code i came up with.. which didnt work was - <embed width="354" height="259" src="http://homepage.nlworld.com/r.tarrant/videofile=http://homepage.ntlworld.com/r.tarrant/trailer.wmv"><noembed>You need a plugin to watch this content ( Windows Media for internet explorer)</noembed>
Someone please help!

Thanks for trying, however it seems that does not work either :S would it be better to put the video up on my server just as a file? rather than one already in a media player? Thanks again ;)
(keep the coding coming!! thank you!!)

Then you are doing something wrong as I've tested the above code on 4 different browsers and they all work just fine. Post the url to the page that you tried the code I gave you on.

Okay you need to find a different host to host your video if you want to have a faster play speed with less buffering.
Another thing you could do is convert the video to .flv format and use the flash video player found here: http://www.*******************/?item=JW_FLV_Media_Player
I'm not going to walk you through this so you'll need to figure it out on your own because its a lot of work. If you don't think you can do it on your own then I suggest you hire someone who can.
