Image rendering and IE

I have a page with a few images most of them look fine but one looks a little grain in IE7 but looks perfect in FF (what i developed it in) any suggestions on how I could negate this effect?

The page has not been uploaded yet as its still in mid-production so no link unfortunately i was just wondering is there any known issue when displaying images in IE as apposed to FF

The problem is only with one jpg on the page I have a couple of gifs and they look fine

Are the width/height values specified in the html/css different than the actual dimensions of that image (some sort of scaling)? Upload your code and images on forum, if possible.

yes there is some scaling taking place could this be the root of the problem?, ill go and investigate see if i can sharpen the image if not ill post my code/images.
