Where to start application coding

I am a beginner programmer starting to code application's.
I know c well.
could any one guide me where to start to make my application's
i want to learn coding applications
still yesterday i coded to learn the language but now i want to make use of the language in my projects
to be frank i haven't coded any application yet.
could any one help me to start learning to code some practical applications.

If possible could you suggest some simple practical applications and where to start code them, Please.
