deal with search engine

Please help me in coding this as soon as possible :
1.the user enter a query
2.the system pass the query to search engine (altavista)
3.the system retrieve the page of results
4.the system extract from that page the links
5.the system send the links link by link in order to retrieve the source code of thier pages and save them
in a database ,like that

[edit:] Well, actually I think it can be done. I think I could possibly do it with Python and ASP, but I have no time to write it out at the moment. And you would need Python on the server this would run on.

I may attempt it if I get any time, what purpose would this serve exactly? I mean why bother with getting the source code of the links?
