I'm looking for a light weight html editor, basically just notepad with syntax highlighting (and spell check would be nice). Any suggestions?

I third that, Notepadd++ (http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm).

It has a lot of extensions if you want, but is fast and basically a great upgrade over something like Windows Notepad.

I use TopStyle Pro 3.5 (www.newsgator.com/individuals/topstyle/default.aspx). Love it dearly.

Similar to Notepad++, there is Notepad 2. Syntx highlighting, line counting etc. Best of all it's super lightweight and loads really fast.

I still like Ultraedit. It had syntax highlight already back in the 1990s. I think it was originally meant as a combo hex and text editor, with 'paging' out to DOS-based command line compilers and interpreters. And it includes a lot of other stuff, too. I use it all the time.

PsPad: http://www.pspad.com/

I love the class viewer. Doesn't come free with a lot of the editors.
