ive prepared a demo here (http://cg9com.web1000.com/demo.html).
notice the gap under the white div? its supposed to be 0px, no space.
am i doing something wrong?
moz. and opera view it fine, ie6 no go.
<edit>just viewed @ work with ie5, looks fine, does anyone else even see a gap????</edit>

It looks exactly the same for me in both Moz 1.21 and IE 6.

its just a big® black box n' thennn just a band® of white under it???
orrr do you mean what just a ppears® to be mayyybe just a onepixel® of black 'under' that band of white??? /me had to look @ it just a twice® since /me wasnt sure thattts what you meant orrr ifin' it twas the bottom edge of the browser window???

thanks justame i was thinking that too.
the background is black and the div is white, i saw about a pixel of black under the white div.
i cant fully comment yet as i have to go home to review/edit anything, but did you at least see a gap?

Now that justame described what you were talking about I can see it in IE 6 while Moz doesn't have it. I put a border around your div and found that it appears that IE doesn't understand bottom: 0px; properly.

besides its supposed to be NO pixels under it, thats what moz and opera do ...

lol! It's just that I've been stalking this thread waiting for this Mega Terrible IE6 bug to be revealed. :D :o
I didn't realize it was that little line that I see in IE5 too. BTW if I resize the window it kinda comes and goes. At some sizes it's there and then it's gone again. :(

hmm, my ie5 showed it ok ... i never resized or anything.
ie6 just wont push it down ...
