Hi I designed a website a couple of years ago which loads jpegs dynamically into flash. All was well apart from when looking at the website in AOL. Some strange caching and apparently AOL changing jpegs into .art files meant that images got mixed up and it all went wrong. To get round this i ended up changing the jpeg file extensions from .jpg to .xyz which worked. I have just updated the website and wanted to know if this was still an issue with AOL as changing the file extensions is a bit of a pain. I now no longer have access to AOL to test it for myself. Would really appreciate it if people could share their experiences on this issue.
Thanks

AOL browser? I've never had it or used it so I can't explain any similar situations. Are you sure that the user has the most updated version of everything?

Its based on the IE Trident engine, which means it works similarly to IE 6 I think.

Why not just download it and test it to make sure?

Thanks for the reply. It was definitely a problem before but hopefully it has now been sorted. I didn't realise i could download the aol browser - you used to have to pay for it. I'll do that, thanks.

Yeah they released it to the public a little while ago according to their blog. Their blog was pretty pitiful though. Only 1 post a month at the most, for a browser development blog? Sad...
