I don't remember which program it was, but there is a program out there that you can like draw buttons, form options, etc, and make your own programs into exe files.

Like for instance, you put a text box and a submit button. Then you type in your name and submit it and it shows your name, but no hard coding is required. Does anyone know where I can find one of these?

I've never heard of anything that does ALL the coding for you, but there are some out there that will give you a WYSIWYG design tool to draw out all the forms and buttons. Everything I've seen you still have to code the actions of what things do when something happens. If you want a windows application, I suggest MS Visual Studios .NET. It comes with a WYSIWYG designer for your windows, and it'll even make and direct you to it's events when you double click something, but you still have to know a little bit of coding depending on what you want to make.

It sounds exactly like your describing Visual Basics 6 for Windows.
It's not such as a WYSIWYG editor but it's own programming language. The (if you insist) 'WYSIWYG' editor is just to create the window in which the scripts you programmed in the language are executed. If you want to create a slightly decent program in VB then coding is required.

If this isn't it then I don't have a clue. But i'm 99.9 (recurring) % sure your talking about VB6

Yeah I believe its one of those. I know some coding is required, but for the most part your able to draw out and design it without having to hardcode the forms.

I wanted to make a program, like to record things.
