How to open link in same window and dim everything else

Hey guys,

I'm trying to come up with a way to click a link to a video/image and open it up on the same window as a frame, and dim whatever is behind that frame. Trying to avoid opening up a new window or linking to another page.

I've seen this script before but my luck has run short today with this and I can't find it anywhere.

Any help?

That would be a "lightbox". I can't recommend any, but search for javascript lightbox and you should find quite a few to choose from.

That was exactly what I was looking for.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get Thickbox (since lightbox is only for images) to properly work on my end with the flash video that I want to show. However, I can still use this elsewhere whenever I need to.
